Jake W. Lombardo

Since 2010, Jake has practiced in the areas of commercial and real estate transactions and litigation. 

Jake began his career practicing with one of the largest law firms in the state of Michigan, where he spent five years litigating civil, commercial and real estate disputes in the trial and appellate courts across the country as well as numerous arbitration and tax tribunals.

After leaving big law behind, Jake broadened the scope of his practice, gaining significant experience in the areas of business formation, commercial and real estate transactions, property tax issues and intellectual property protection. Jake draws on his significant litigation experience when approaching business and real estate matters, approaching each matter in such a fashion as to make sure that his clients are protected from potential litigation. 

Jake is a proud graduate of Grand Valley State University’s Seidman School of Business, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Business Economics, and the University of Notre Dame Law School. 

Since graduating from Notre Dame, Jake and his wife Kristyn, a French Teacher at Rockford High School, have resided in Rockford with their growing family.  

Jake is an avid, although not necessarily talented, cycler, golfer, wood worker and small engine repairman. When he is not in the office, you can find him at home with his wife and two children, biking on the White Pine Trail, on the golf course or working in his shop.
